Three times in our lives we must make this journey,” initially, when the gods
first enter us, later to strengthen that bond and then towards the end of our
lives, when the gods will soon have to find other bodies to carry out their
work. The Governments of Nepal & China reached an accord in May 1993 allowing
the treks across the border between the two countries. This trek is
theoretically to Mt. Kailash in Tibet through Humla, Nepal's highest,
northernmost and most remote district, also culturally and scenically rewarding.
One has to be physically fit to undertake this trek as it is difficult and
includes long hours drive.

After breakfast, fly to Simikot & trek to Majgaon O/N

Trek to Yalbang Chaur (2700m). O/N camp. |

Trek to Danda Kermi (2550m). O/N camp. |

Trek to Tumlot Khola (2800m). O/N camp. |

Trek to Nara-La Pass (4325m) & to Sher (3600m). O/N
