Jungle Safari In Nepal |
Though Nepal has numerous National Parks, Royal Chitwan
National Park is said to be the best amongst all considering
the variety of flora & fauna and also the large volume of
visitors that its attracts. ROYAL NATIONAL PARK CHITWAN
Nepal park situated in the Terai Region in Nepal attract
visitors from all over the world. Royal chitwan National
park is one of the finest in Asia and listed in the world
heritage (Natural) site by UNESCO IN 1979. A visit in this
park involves Game stalking by variety of means. Foot
dugout, canoe, jeep driving in the jungle, an elephant back
safari and other numerous activities. One is bound to sight
a one - horned Rhino or two at every elephant safari.
Besides, the rhinos, Royal Bengal tiger, wild boars, samburs,
spotted dear, sloth bear, four horned antelope and other
numerous animals are seen throughout the park. Nature walk
is another way to experience the wilderness park to view an
animals as well as to observe their tracks signs and sounds.
Dugout-canoe trips down the Rapti river and Narayani river
offer to view water birds, brilliant blue Europian
kingfishers, egrets, osprey, and ruddy sheldrakes. A jeep
Safari through thejungle provides more game spotting
opportunities than might be expected otherwise because it
goes to deeper in to the jungle, usually beyond the beaten
track.
Getting There:
Five hours drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara by Bus or Car. 30
- 35 minutes by flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur (Chitwan)
By raft: One of the most exciting way to explore to the park
is to Raft down on the Trisuli River. It takes 1 to 3 days
to float down the river
experiencing its numerous rapids and seeing variety of
village, landscapes and flora and fauna along the River
banks.
There are a variety of lodges inside & outside the park.
Lodges inside the park are more solitery, peaceful and more
wilderness than the lodges situated outside. Real wildlife
adventure can be contained inside the park because of its
fantastic location. The lodge offers both lodge and tented
camp accommodation. Lodge consist simple style jungle huts
with twin bedded room and attach bathrooms. Built in a such
a way so as to blend with the natural environment, but also
provide you with every necessary amneties. At the tented
camps, we use first quality safari tents especially designed
to accommodate two camp beds and wide space for luggage and
changing. A large local styled round hut is where you will
slavour the delicious Nepalese and
continental food at the Jungle Bar.

the real jungle

Itinerary in Details |
DAY 01 |
Arrive, meet, transter to lodge by boat across the
Narayani River.
Upon arrival, short briefing.
1:25pm Lunch
1:30pm Elephant Safari/ Elephant bath / Jungle Trek/
natural walk with Boat ride.
8:00pm Dinner |
DAY 02 |
5:30am Wake up call followed by tea/coffee.
6:00am Bird watching & Elephant Safari.
8:00am Breakfast.
9:30am Crocodile walk. A 45 minutes walk through
grassland forest upstream the Narayani River. Board
boats to observe. Crocodiles along the banks while
floating back to the camp.
1:00pm Lunch.
3:30pm Elephant Safari/ Elephant bath/ Jungle walk/
Visit observation Tower/ Nature walk with Boat ride.
8:00pm Slide Show.
8:30pm Dinner. |
DAY 03 |
5:30am. Wake up call. Followed by tea/coffee.
6:00am Bird watching & Elephant Safari..
8:00am. Breakfast.
9:30am. Departure to Kathmandu or your own Destination. |
